Membership The SC currently consists of a Chairman, a Secretary, 24 Regular Members and 24 Observer Members. The Chairman is from France and the secretary from Canada. The 24 countries represented by Regular Members are Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, CZECH and SLOVAK Reps., Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Norway, Portugal, South Africa, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, United Kingdom and United States whilst the 12 countries represented by Observer Members are Arabia States of the Gulf, Argentina, Austria, China, India, Iran, Israel, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Thailand, and Venezuela. The 36 constituents of the SC come from Utilities (23), Manufacturers (5) and Universities/Institutes (5), from Consultants (3).
